Health Guarantee Coverage

We provide a comprehensive health guarantee covering congenital or hereditary conditions that significantly affect the puppy’s quality of life.

  • Veterinary Verification: If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a serious hereditary condition within the guarantee period, buyers must notify us immediately and provide official written veterinary documentation.

  • Fair Resolution: Our goal is to work fairly, transparently, and responsibly with every family should a verified health-related concern arise, ensuring your peace of mind when welcoming your new Newfoundland.

Buyer Responsibilities

To maintain the validity of this health guarantee, buyers agree to:

  • Prompt Veterinary Exam: Schedule a thorough veterinary examination within 72 hours of receiving your Newfoundland puppy to establish a baseline health record.

  • Proper Care and Nutrition: Provide appropriate, high-quality giant-breed nutrition, safe housing, controlled exercise suitable for growing joints, and routine veterinary care.

  • Ongoing Medical Maintenance: Follow all recommended vaccination and preventative parasite schedules provided by your veterinarian.

  • Safe Living Conditions: Ensure a loving environment free from neglect, abuse, or unsafe living conditions.

Failure to provide appropriate care may void portions of this guarantee.

Non-Covered Conditions

This health guarantee does not cover:

  • Minor Illnesses: Common minor illnesses or conditions easily treated by a veterinarian (such as minor parasites, upper respiratory adjustments, or stress-related tummy upsets).

  • Environmental Stress: Stress-related conditions or minor adjustments caused by travel, relocation, or environmental changes during the transition to a new home.

  • Post-Departure Injuries: Any injuries or accidents occurring after the puppy leaves our care.

  • Improper Care or Negligence: Conditions caused by improper care, failure to restrict high-impact exercise during critical giant-breed growth stages, accidents, or neglect.

  • Routine Expenses: Routine veterinary expenses, including regular checkups, booster vaccines, or routine parasite prevention.

No Guarantee Against Common Variations

As living animals develop uniquely, we cannot guarantee:

  • Adult Size or Weight: While we can provide estimates based on parent lineage, exact adult height and weight can vary.

  • Coat Color Changes: Newfoundland puppies can experience shifts, fading, or shading variations in their coat color as they mature into adult dogs.

  • Breeding Ability: Puppies are placed primarily as cherished family companions unless explicitly agreed upon otherwise.

  • Show Quality: We cannot guarantee specific confirmation traits or show-ring success, as growth and development change over time.

  • Temperament Variations: While we provide a strong foundation and early socialization, ultimate temperament is heavily influenced by the puppy’s new environment, ongoing training, and socialization provided by the family.
